Keep your house/service battery fully charged on the go with the Renogy 12V 50A DC-DC On-Board Battery Charger with MPPT. This dual-input unit combines an efficient DC-DC charger and an MPPT solar charge controller in one compact device, allowing simultaneous charging from both your vehicle’s alternator and solar panels.

It delivers up to 50A of charging current (max ~660W) with multi-stage charging (Bulk, Boost/Absorption, Float) for AGM/Sealed, Gel, Flooded, and Lithium batteries. Advanced MPPT technology (up to 99% tracking efficiency and ~94–97% conversion efficiency) maximizes solar input, while smart alternator compatibility (including Euro 6) and an IGN signal wire enable automatic operation when the engine is running. Soft-start design protects both the alternator and starter battery.

Built-in protections include reverse polarity, over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, and battery isolation. Optional Bluetooth (BT-2) or Renogy ONE monitoring is available via RS485. Compact die-cast aluminum housing offers good heat dissipation for vehicle installations.
